Hello, I’m Xuejiao (Jo) Feng, L.Ac., licensed acupuncturist and herbalist at 承泽中医 / Natural Choice Acupuncture & Wellness in Brunswick, GA.
I was born and raised in Baotou, China, where traditional Chinese medicine was part of daily life. From an early age, I saw the wisdom and effectiveness of these practices—not just as treatments, but as a way of living in harmony with nature and the seasons. I was fortunate to have a great uncle who ran a Chinese medicine clinic, and spending time there gave me a deep respect for the art and science of healing. Those early experiences inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others through acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Alongside my lifelong immersion in Chinese medicine, I also trained extensively in the U.S. During my clinical internship at Providence Infusion Center & Quest Center for Integrative Health in Portland, Oregon, I collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team, performed detailed patient assessments, and created individualized treatment plans. There, I gained valuable experience providing acupuncture and integrative care to patients managing pain, stress, and chronic health concerns.
After Portland, I moved to Atlanta, where I practiced at one of the first Chinese medicine clinics in the state. I commuted between there and Athens to serve more patients and broaden my clinical experience. It was difficult to leave behind the connections and people I cared so deeply for, but I am now settling into the Golden Isles—setting down roots, hoping to stay for the long term, and bringing healing to this community that I now call home.
At Natural Choice Acupuncture & Wellness, I specialize in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and integrative therapies that support balance, reduce pain, and promote long-term well-being. My approach is guided by compassion, attentiveness, and the belief that every body has the innate wisdom to heal.
